that's how much happiness levels can increase when people practice gratitude regularly.
The pandemic has accelerated mental health challenges, but referring to professionals has decreased. People avoided reaching out, thinking their problems were insignificant. The goal was to foster unity and understanding among users. It's to create a supportive space where individuals navigating mental health struggles can find comfort. CHALLENGES
01
Creating a Safe Environment
How can I establish a secure and welcoming space where users feel comfortable sharing their deepest thoughts and experiences, even those they wouldn't disclose to their closest friends or family?
02
Solution
Given the sensitive nature of the situation, the app is designed to be completely anonymous, ensuring that user information isn't stored. This approach provides a safe space for reflection. You can be self-aware without worrying about data misuse. It also removes the pressure to be perfect. It encourages users to freely document and journal their experiences.
02
Communicating the Value
How can I effectively convey the significance of this sharing process and highlight the benefits of each step to encourage user engagement
and participation?
02
Solution
I have included a brief and simple onboarding process. It can be easily accessed from the app itself. I aimed to encourage users to share at least one post or browse the main feed. I believed it could help them see the benefits and find relief.
03
Preventing Harmful Behavior
How can I reduce the risk of bad interactions? How can I ensure the platform stays supportive and constructive? How can I keep it free from harmful comments or misuse?
02
Solution
I avoided open and free-form comments on shared posts. Instead, I added structured comments. I also limited the emojis to only supportive and uplifting ones. This approach fosters a positive atmosphere and reduces the potential for harmful comments or misuse.
As previously stated, the app's visuals channels the youthful energy and joyful attitude of McFly's "Young Dumb Thrills" album - bright, bold colors and eye-catching elements, mixing a nostalgic retro-pop flair with a modern twist.
